If you have a restricted parking area you’ll be aware of the issues with pin codes and key passes when trying to manage access points. These systems are easily bypassed meaning that unauthorised vehicles continue to make their way into areas where they are not permitted. Having a dedicated staff member there to cross-check each vehicle and provide statistics on the amount of time they’ve visited or how long they’ve parked is not a viable option.
By integrating licence plate recognition and LIDAR technology, access control is made easier and more secure
Control access to a restricted area without the need for operators to allow or deny entry by using LPR technology combined with a pre-existing watch list of vehicles who are allowed into your restricted area. This means that vehicles can be scanned as soon as they drive up to the gate and be allowed or denied access based on your predetermined list saving you time and improving efficiency.
No. As part of the initial sales process, our technical sales consultants are happy to guide you through an initial solution design. Large pieces of work may require a paid design phase to get the best possible solution design.
Do we get to keep the design files you produce?
Yes. For paid design work, all documentation produced is yours to keep.
I am concerned about software quality. Do you outsource your software development?
No. All of our software developers are degree qualified software engineers based in Melbourne.
Can I perform my own testing of the project solution to ensure my stakeholders are happy?
Of course. We would actively encourage you to participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) where you perform your own test. All we would ask is that you share your testing questions and expectations with us so we can ensure we meet your expectations.
What is the first step?
The first thing to do is to come out to site for a site walk and requirements discussion. Every customer is different and so every solution is tailored to their needs.
Can I have a demonstration?
We’re able to provide live demonstrations via webinar. Please contact 03 8727 6000 to speak to our Sales team to make a booking
What data is collected with each read?
Each plate detection records the following data: infrared and colour images of the vehicle, zoomed in plate image, plate text, time, date, watch list association and GPS location.
Can I see your technology in action?
We’re able to provide live demonstrations via webinar. Please contact 03 8727 6000 to book your live demonstration
Can you come see what trouble we’re experiencing on site?
Certainly. It’s our preference to do a live site walk-through as part of the consulting phase.
Do I need a guard to attend the system?
That is up to you. The software can be accessed via any web-enabled device with access, so it is possible for roaming guards to verify vehicles entering whilst not being in the guard house. Or you can choose to have a completely automated system.
Can your system be integrated with our existing building management system?
Yes. With our team of software developers and existing integrations we are able to integrate with your existing system.
We want to keep existing vehicle management systems in place but augment with licence plate recognition, is this possible?
Absolutely. We are already integrated with major parking equipment and payment gateway suppliers and our local software team is available to develop a solution customised to your site needs.
We have an issue with visitors taking up resident car parks, can your system prevent this?
Yes. By managing the amount of visitors that come into the carpark via a tenant watch-list of number plates you can manage how many visitors are in the carpark at any given time.
