Access Control

If you have a restricted parking area you’ll be aware of the issues with pin codes and key passes when trying to manage access points. These systems are easily bypassed meaning that unauthorised vehicles continue to make their way into areas where they are not permitted. Having a dedicated staff member there to cross-check each vehicle and provide statistics on the amount of time they’ve visited or how long they’ve parked is not a viable option. By integrating licence plate recognition and LIDAR technology, access control is made easier and more secure.

Explanation

Control access to a restricted area without the need for operators to allow or deny entry by using LPR technology combined with a pre-existing watch list of vehicles who are allowed into your restricted area. This means that vehicles can be scanned as soon as they drive up to the gate and be allowed or denied access based on your predetermined list saving you time and improving efficiency.

Highlights

  • Auto entry and auto exit
  • Alerting
  • Tailgate prevention
  • Integration with access gate/boom/door
  • Reporting on dwell times and repeat parkers
